Decipher uses the familiar Google Maps as its base, so it’s easy for you to navigate on your device. Simply, use your finger to drag the map around and use two fingers to zoom in or out.

You’ll be able to access biomass imagery and your notes by tapping Biomass and Notes in the left hand side menu. And collect samples and make an observation from the menu options.

To find a location on your map;

To search for a location tap the magnifying glass icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen to reveal the search bar. You’ll be able to search for a location anywhere in the world as you would on Google Maps.

To find your location on the map tap the location icon. For iPhone users it is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. For Android users its located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

You can set a default map location (for example, your farm) in your Business Settings. To change or set your default map location;

  1. Tap on your business name to bring up the business menu.
  2. Tap Business Details to bring up your Business Settings.
  3. Next to Primary location tap edit. 
  4. Enter your new location and then select Save changes.
