Yield data is the information gathered by the yield monitor in your header while you're harvesting, and can reveal a comprehensive picture of variable conditions across a paddock, however getting the most out of it and interpreting the data can be difficult.

Decipher's Yield Data product allows you to quickly and easily translate the data from a range of different yield monitors into geoTIFF files and display on the Decipher maps, allowing you to compare the final results with your biomass imagery and soil nutrition data.

Unlocking your yield data is simple:

Step 1: Prepare your yield files to upload into Decipher

  • Read more here about how to add my yield data.

Step 2: Purchase Yield Data through Marketplace

Step 3:  Check your farm boundaries are in Decipher.

  • You can find instructions on setting up your boundaries here.

Step 4: Upload your Yield Data

  • There are instructions on uploading Yield Data here.

Step 5: Clean your Yield Data to make it easier to use.

  • Information of Yield Cleaning is here

Step 6: Use the yield data layer to compare with biomass to understand variability and
performance, and check sample site locations.

Step 7: Use your cleaned Yield Data to create management zones and from them build prescription maps for variable rate application.

  • More information on prescription mapping can be found here.

Note: Decipher's Yield products are not available in North America.
